Field Hockey:
10 out of 25 members on the Denison Fieled Hockey team earned spots on the 2012 SGI/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad.
Men’s Basketball:
Senior basketball power forward Dimonde Hale was awarded to be on the second-team Great Lakes squad. Hale was also awarded to be on the second-team All-Great Lakes region squad by D3Hoops.com.
Men’s Lacrosse:
Head Coach Mike Caravan became the second coach in school history to reach 200 wins when the Big Red beat the Centre Colonels 17-4.
Women’s Track and Field:
Freshman Aedin Brennan’s second-place finish in the heptathalon led a fine performance by the Big Red at the Washington & Lee Carnival which included sophomore Kristen Geary’s fifth place finish in the pole vault competition.
Men’s Lacrosse:
Senior runner Chad Kosanovich finished in fourth-place in the 1500-meter run while the four man team of fresman Sam Posniewski, junior Jon Brachna, freshman Mitch Keller and Kosanovich finished second in the 4×800.
