For students seeking a way to show off their creative photography skills, support the environment, and possibly win a prize, submit a masterpiece to The Earth Day Photo Contest. The goal of this contest is to creatively promote topics of sustainability and conservation.

To participate in this contest sponsored by the Office of Sustainability and the Denison Museum, students simply need to make a video or poster of all things green and submit them by April 22.

Topics could include but are not limited to: energy & water conservation, recycling, composting, buying local, reusing, and consumption.

Students can submit either by going to the contest website at the address: http://bit.ly/1gCb80u or posting the photo or video to Instagram, Vine, Facebook or Twitter after making the profile public and tagging the entry #GreenRev.

Students vote on the photos by going to the Denison Museum Facebook page and voting for their favorite photo or video.

Winners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22, and first place will receive a $50 gift certificate to Day y Noche. second place will receive a $25 gift certificate to Day y Noche, and third place will win a $10 gift certificate to Whit’s.
