A vehicle parked in front of Crawford residence hall has been booted last week by Campus Safety. The owner of the vehicle had outstanding citations with Student Accounts, leading to placement on the boot list.
Any student receiving five citations will be placed on the boot list and will be required to return their permit to the Student Accounts office and remove the vehicle from campus.
According to Student Accounts, it is cheaper for a student if they boot the vehicle the first rather than towing because of towing and impound fees.
Students found driving or parking on campus after having privileges revoked, will be towed and students will be turned over to the Office of Campus and Residential Life for judicial action.
