On April 6, Denison women’s rugby hosted the first Ohio Valley Women’s Collegiate Rugby Conference (OVWCRC) tournament of the 7’s team’s spring season. The team finished third out of six teams, which earned them a spot in the conference championship tournament bracket. In three games played, the Big Red went 2-1, with victories over Oberlin and Taylor and a loss to OWU. They will next compete in the conference championship tournament hosted by OWU on April 13, with the chance to qualify for the national championship tournament.
