Photo Essay: The Black Student Union hosts Culture Jam celebration with rapper Rico Nasty as headline performer

  • At the end of a week full of events, rapper Rico Nasty was the headline performer for the Black Student Union’s Culture Jam celebration. She performed at Denison on Saturday, April 9.
  • Rico Nasty was the sixth of seven events during the week of Culture Jam, with one event each day.
  • Students filled the Mitchell Center to watch Rico Nasty perform.
  • Jay Jackson ‘25 and Dashn White ‘22 perform during “Trap Karaoke” on day 1 of Culture Jam.
  • Students dance at Culture Jam’s second event called “Soul Train.”
  • Members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council pose at a “Meet the Greeks” event held on A-Quad during Culture Jam Week. Denison is home to five different NPHC fraternities and sororities.
