Emma Wecht, Special to The Denisonian

While most Denison students were away on summer break, a new business opened in Granville.

On July 4, OneLove Cafe and Bike Shop, co-owned by Fulya Doslovich and Asu Turkmen, welcomed their first customers. Their business offers Turkish coffee, treats and a full-service bike shop.

OneLove Cafe and Bike Shop is a passion project brought to life by two women with a vision. Doslovich, an avid cyclist, always dreamed of opening a bike shop that could make cycling attractive to everyone. She wants to encourage people to come in and try a bike ride around the store, in the Granville community and out onto one of the many trails surrounding Granville. And Turkmen wanted to introduce Granville to her native Turkish cuisine and coffee.

OneLove offers a wide range of bicycles, from mountain and gravel bikes to everyday commuter models. They partner with well-known brands like Specialized, Cannondale and Velotric, ensuring high-quality bikes for every rider. In addition, OneLove hosts social rides and events, with a particular focus on encouraging children to embrace cycling as a healthy and fun activity.

OneLove’s cafe incorporates traditional Turkish coffee and pastries.

“We offer Turkish coffee as our signature drink, along with baklava as our signature dessert. We also have paninis, pastries, and smoothies on the menu,” said Turkmen.

The cafe has also become popular with Denison students.

“It’s genuinely the best off-campus coffee I’ve ever had,” Isabella Guzman ‘26 said.

Doslovich said that since opening they’ve “received a warm welcome from the Granville community,” and that they “enjoy meeting new faces.”

“Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels accepted and comfortable, whether they’re grabbing a coffee or participating in one of our events,” said Doslovich.

Rhayan Gangwer, the head of coffee operations, has been with OneLove from the start. Working closely with the owners, she manages the cafe and helps organize community events.

“We’re not in competition with other coffee shops,” Rhayan said. “We’re just offering more opinions and bringing something different to the community.”

Looking ahead, Doslovich and Turkmen said they hope to continue growing OneLove’s presence in Granville.

“We want to host more events, get more people on bikes, and see our cafe become a gathering place for everyone,” Doslovich said. “This is more than just a business for us—it’s a labor of love, and we’re excited to see how it evolves.”
