Each February, the Black Student Union’s Freshman Foundation hosts Black Love Week, consisting of several events on campus the community can be a part of in the celebration. The events featured above are the community potluck dinner and open mic at The Bandersnatch. “Black Love Week is a demonstration of Black love,” said president of Freshman Foundation Amirah Loury ‘19. “The purpose of Black Love Week is to open Black History Month with an overall theme of community, positivity, and inclusivity.”
