The Denison community mourns the loss of Denise Karr, assistant to assistant directors of housing and residential education. Karr had a heart attack over the weekend and did not survive, according to Laurel Kennedy.
Karr, a resident of Heath, Ohio, worked in the Curtis service center assisting students with ID services and various other services for nearly ten years.
Funeral information will be communicated when it is available.
Students are encouraged to seek support from the Whisler counseling staff as well as the Denison Chaplain.
