Denison Women’s Rugby competed in the conference championship tournament this past weekend at Granville Middle School. Big Red took the crown, becoming the 2022 NCAC Conference Champions after defeating Ohio Wesleyan University and then Baldwin Wallace University in back-to-back games. Annie Hoag ‘24 scored the winning try of the championship match, after DU and Baldwin Wallace went into overtime.
Denison Men’s Rugby also competed over the weekend, traveling to Cedarville, OH for three matches. Despite less than ideal weather conditions, Big Red battled hard winning one match and losing two after enduring cold, torrential rain, and even a blizzard.
