On Nov. 18 at 8:54 p.m., Denison Dispatcher requested assistance for security with an issue with a non-student. Officer Scott King arrested a male subject for possession of drugs, issued a summons, and released the subject to a friend who escorted him off Denison property.

On Nov. 19 at 11:15 a.m., complainant called to report an injured buzzard. Complainant called back and confirmed clearance was given by Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Officer Suzie Dawson and complainant took care of injured animal. 

On Nov. 21 at 12:07 a.m., Licking County Fire/ EMS dispatch advised of a squad run to the listed location for an alcohol overdose. Officer Jon Dailey assisted Granville Fire Department with locating the overdosed person. GFD assessed the person and transported them to Licking County Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

On Nov. 29 at 12:57 p.m., DU Dispatcher requested an officer to meet Security at the Ebaugh chemistry lab in regards to a female subject who was not supposed to be on campus. Officer Shawn Wilson met with DU Security and attempted to locate the female subject but had no contact.

On Dec. 1 at 3:35 p.m., a theft report was filed for a student who returned from Thanksgiving break, and found a laptop and small music system missing from his room. 

On Dec. 2 at 1:05 a.m., Denison security requested an officer for a drug complaint. Officer Justin Woodyard arrived and confiscated a small amount of marijuana. Officer Woodyard obtained information on a student trafficking marijuana. Officer Woodyard assisted DU Security with a room search and no illegal drugs were located. 

On Dec. 5 at 12:41 a.m., Licking County fire dispatch advised a squad run to the 911 Center at 65 E. Main St in Newark for an ill person. Officer Zach Markley assisted the squad and located a Denison student intoxicated. The student was arrested for underage consumption, and he was transported to the Granville Police Department where he was issued a summons.
