WILL ROOSE, Staff Writer—
For incoming students who are excited to take advantage of the Mitchell Center’s athletic facilities, one may need to be reminded of D-Fuse: a concession stand and hidden gem within the campus for those who love delicious, nourishing smoothies and protein shakes.
Whether you are a freshman or senior, everyone is welcome to walk down and enjoy filling drinks and smaller snacks, such as fruit and health bars and sandwiches that make for a quick and fulfilling lunch.
However, those who frequent Mitchell on the weekends will find themselves out of luck. D-Fuse’s hours of operation take place Monday through Thursday, for four hours between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Make sure to take your friends and family, whether you are coming for a group study session, spotting someone during a work-out or are hungry for a memorable café-esque experience in the Mitchell Center. One of the best aspects of D-Fuse is its accessibility during work-outs or sports events and practices.
D-Fuse is sort of a symbol of community at Denison. It was made with the intention of bringing people together in a warm environment with excellent service and snack selection.
Despite being located inside the Mitchell Center, it is also within range for those who live at the very top of the hill, or those who are walking through the heart of Granville.
Regarding their selections, if you have allergies or dietary restrictions, the employees will be more than happy to inform you of the ingredients in advance.
There will never be a time when you have to use a slow, often tedious vending machine. The concession stand is ready to make your smoothie as soon as it is ordered and specifically to your taste.
When taking advantage of all Mitchell has to offer, keep D-Fuse in mind.
